Hanshin Electric Railway Co. Ltd. (阪神電気鉄道株式会社) is a private railway company headquartered in Osaka. It operates two main railway lines within the Osaka Prefecture – Main Line(本線) and Hashin Namba Line(阪神なんば線). Of note is that it also owns the famous professional baseball team, Hanshin Tigers. Japan Rail Pass cannot be used here.
Both Hanshin Main Line and Hanshin Namba Line work as connecting lines to Nara. One can transfer to Kintetsu Nara Line from Koshien Station (HS14), Kobe-Sannomiya Station (HS32) or Shinkaichi Station (HS36) on the Hanshin Main Line. One can also transfer to Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka Namba Station (HS41) on Hanshin Namba Line.
Hanshin Main Line (阪神電気鉄道本線)– This route connects Umeda Station in Osaka and Kobe-Sannomiya Station in Kobe.
